I hate the term "Cyber Monday". It reminds me of the bubble. My money and intelligence are real, not "cyber", and it just feels like another concept created to get more people to shop just after Thanksgiving. So I propose a new name. Something a little more passive. Or calls it out for what it really is.
Anyways, what are your thoughts? Vote or add your own choice below.

Considering broadband penetration at home is growing pretty fast - I think 3/4 of internet homes have high-speed connections - I wonder how long the notion of Cyber Monday (or whatever) is even going to exist. People aren't going to need to wait to get back to work anymore to shop online. Seems like an idea that might be short-lived, whatever the reality might have been.

Ian, let's turn Cyber Monday (agree - don't like it neither) into Happy Monday by using www.maatiam.com! It's a new web site that turns online purchases into donations to your favorite charity without costing you or the nonprofit a dime.
Anytime you use maatiam.com and shop at any of 200 prominent online partnered merchants, a percentage of your purchase is donated to the nonprofit of your choice. You pay the same price for the item as you normally would.
The donations don't cost consumers a dime. And now nonprofits have a free and effortless way to raise funds.
