Here's a question, if Typepad (which hosts this blog) has their own 'connect' service, will they make it easy to add this functionality across their platform?

Been wondering about that as well. SixApart was listed as one of the Facebook Connect Beta testers and they have Facebook app that connects to typepad. Nothing on the sixapart blog.

My first thought on seeing this Facebook Connect feature is that the risks of phishing account details are immense.
Not by you of course, but by anybody who can set up a blog and a phoney Facebook login. Ordinarily you can check a URL but that check is not there this time.

You can, Peter, by logging into TypePad with your Facebook ID. It's an option now.
